Unity Tutorial 07

Hey!

So this week was our final week of Unity tutorials, and I was both excited and sad because I felt like I was actually getting the hang of them (without having any errors).

For this week we learned how to apply audio and distribute the game to users.

For the first part of the tutorials, I discovered the difference between 2D and 3D sounds. 2D sound will still be at the same volume no matter where the player is in the scene, but 3D sound will be changed and played out of multiple speakers to give the appearance of being in a 3D environment.

The second tutorial showed me how to distribute my game to users without requiring them to install Unity to play it. This tutorial was short, straightforward, and easy to complete.

In conclusion, this week's unity tutorials were actually fairly manageable. I am glad that the tutorials are over. I think I’ve learned many things over the past couple of weeks from Unity; technical skills but also personal skills such as patience, I think reading the instructions instead of watching a video made me more patient and helped me realize that not everything has to be rushed all the time. All in all, I have really enjoyed the Unity tutorials over the past 2 semesters and I hope that I can use the skills I learned from this in the future. That’s it from me, thanks for reading!
